Today (Oct. 16) is the 160th anniversary of Oscar Wilde’s birth. And what better way to mark the occasion than with some of his wittiest material? Par exemple:
- “It is absurd to divide people into good and bad. People are either charming or tedious.”
- “The only thing to do with good advice is pass it on. It is never any use to oneself.”
- “Quotation is a serviceable substitute for wit.”
And there’s lots more over on Mental Floss.
